WHAT ABCE MEANT TO ME!

I believe in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that says all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

In 1994 I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and not very long after that God revealed my gift as an exhorter according to Rom 12:8 and He began by equipping me through various training courses.

Then in 2006 I started with intensive training by doing ABCE Biblical counselling courses. Through these courses God truly revealed my heart’s desires and idols and brought me to a place where I desire Him more and more.

I now serve as a Pastoral Counsellor helping the heavy laden and pointing them to the Lord Jesus so that they can find rest in Him.

I presently work full time for ABCE at Radio Pulpit as Counselling Coordinator.

What is SAAP?

The need for pastoral work

South Africans suffer from spiritual wounds and stress. The causes are many - the lack of reconciliation, poverty, HIV/AIDS, unemployment, ongoing violence, crime and transformation in the workplace. Problems in the family, marriage and relationships are compounded by the issues such as debt and work-related stress.

An overwhelmed society needs trained caregivers to actively become part of the healing process.

We can walk without fear, full of hope and courage and strength to do His will, waiting for the endless good which He is always giving as fast as He can get us able to take it in. - George Macdonald
